 Every day seems like we are in a “Situation War Room”, viber, messenger, whatsapp, all platforms are constantly alerting notifications. These are messages from family members, friends, relatives, acquaintances, community leaders, churches – all sharing constant updates and or needs in each region. Our team even noticed that sometimes we know firsthand of activity before it even gets published in Ukrainian media. Many if these are desperate cries of help, Hospitals being blown up, residential complexes, nurseries, families being trapped in basements, need someone to get them and find a safe route out and or bring supplies in for those that are in shock and can’t find the will to leave their home….

I wish I can share so many of those stories and provide more details. We hold late evening zoom calls to sort through all requests, prioritize and go though a very painful task of trying to determine who we can help and who we can’t and who should get how much based on their capability on the ground…

Here is a sneak peak of one of our fund meetings notes and decisions. For safety reasons of our volunteers and contacts in the war zones, we have redacted portions of our meeting notes. We want to share more, but need to think about the safety of our families back home…

Please continue doing what you do, help us spread awareness, help us gather resources, help us so we can help these established channels and groups that are risking their lives for us daily.  (I will be posting another separate article about 4 of our drivers that we just lost, one a father of 12…)
