Watching the events unfolding in Europe at the moment most of us feel powerless. How can you even begin to help the people, fleeing their homes in Ukraine? In Pennsylvania, US, FCSI Associate Andrey Teleguz – a native Ukrainian who arrived as a refugee in the US in 1990 – asked himself how he could make a difference. It didn’t take him long to mobilize, with the help of associates and church family, and in the space of three weeks they have raised $280,000 and have started a process of helpong those in need. As he tells Foodservice Consultant this week, it is a highly complicated process and has grown quickly. The fundraising continues to keep up the support. Please take a moment to read Andrey’s story and consider how you can support the efforts.
