Here are some answers to frequently asked questions.

We hope this conflict ends soon, but the end of the conflict will require a rebuilding process. The refugees will be resettled and will possibly need sponsorship here in Lancaster County. We will keep our fund open to supporting those efforts as needed.

Below is a list of items that are very much needed. We are currently accepting these items and plan to ship them to Ukraine's border in the coming weeks.
  • Cereals, pasta, and canned food, other non-perishable items like noodles, soups, dry potatoes, sugar, flour, rice, different kind of grains, vegetable/corn/ olive oil, cereal, dry milk, tea, coffee, cocoa.
*Please ensure the expiration date is at least six months before the product's expiration. Personal hygiene products:
  • soap, shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, diapers, feminine hygiene products (pads /tampons), wet wipes (antiseptic and baby wipes), briefs for adults
Combs, underwear for women, men, and children, towels. ** Underwear must be new and unused:
Essentials:
  • socks (new, packaged/unopened), batteries, candles, flashlights. - cot, carimate sleeping pad, sleeping bags, blankets, pillows. - children's, women's and men's clothes that are practical & warm.
  • Shoes- children's, women's and men's, comfortable, casual, & practical.
  • clothes and shoes must be in the best possible and proper condition, suitable for use, clean, and undamaged.
**The batteries must be new, according to the expiration date. Flashlights are working. In addition, first aid medical supplies like band-aids, antibiotic ointment, topical pain relievers, ace wraps, dressings for wounds, etc., will be appreciated.

Please contact Victor before dropping items off at the church. If you are part of a large company or organization, please consider collecting all donated items and then dropping them off together. 

 Bethany Slavic Church is a religious corporation that is organized exclusively for religious, charitable, and educational purposes and qualifies as exempt organization under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 and is incorporated as a non-profit in the state of Pennsylvania  

If you are a public traded corporation and require a Public Charity to make your donations, you may do so through VisionGo our partner ministry. VisionGO is tax exempt non-profit public charity organization under section 501 (c) (3).  VisionGO joined Bethany Slavic Church’s Ukraine War Refugee Aid Fund (UWRAF) efforts.  All funds donated to VisionGO UWRAF will be used for evacuation, humanitarian aid and refugee help for all people impacted by the war in Ukraine.
