Winter is coming, and we can't help and think what that means to the Ukrainian people having Russia systematically targeting all infrastructure and destroying all means of being able to provide basic heating for homes... We have been busy preparing solutions and have organized various Winter Coat Drives, collecting coats, blankets, and sleeping bags. Locally we are also able to source wood stoves. Reach out to us to learn how you can help and save families from the cold winter ahead.
Sponsor a care package filled with essentials such as sugar, oil, flour, toiletries, and other items that will last a refugee family of 4 for 3-4 days. The cost of each package to source bulk supplies, sort, package, and transport to refugees in the east is $18 per package.
Volunteers in Ukraine are using personal vans to distribute aid, taking dangerous routes, risking lives, losing their vans, and even losing their lives to continue the supply chain open to the east and feed refugees stranded in the bombed cities. They are doing the hard part; our fund is being asked to replace some of the lost transportation.
Our fund has established a large volunteer base and network in Ukraine bordering towns near Poland and Romania. We can purchase supplies abroad through this network, bring them into Ukraine, sort, package, and distribute them to the east.
